New Year's exhibition

Happy New Year!

We are grateful that this year we were able to see the first sunrise with so many people on the beach, 20 seconds from the gallery.

This wall decoration with a pattern of waves and the sun, like the first sunrise, is my grandmother's round sash, which she cut in half for her two daughters as a memento, and which I have inherited. I think my grandmother would have been delighted to be able to display it in the gallery in this way.

I would like to continue to create and appreciate beautiful traditional Japanese things, and I will continue to do small things this year to keep this spirit alive.

This year is the Year of the Rabbit, a symbol of prosperity and abundance.

I sincerely hope that everyone will enjoy a prosperous year.
